BIOGRAPHY
Abarukas
Abarukas is formed by Yoshito Sakuraba in '09. Abarukas generates an image with choreography that does not often exist yet conveys a visual representation of story, which may be interrupted or even completed with one’s feeling of awe. Abarukas does not involve with the world, but outside the world. So the dance concludes as dance. Movement is by far the most fundamental value to its art in Abarukas’ dance. It’s important to understand dancers’ unparalleled individualities and unequaled sets of ability. For that, we quest to the bodily ‘unattainable’ territory, where one is awakening the intuitive senses through his body in extreme motion as upgrading his mind. Abarukas appreciates something that is immediate, something between numbers and words, colors and codes, time and place.
